Creativity isn’t always artistic, in entrepreneurs it often shows up as problem solving.
Thomas Edison quickly comes to mind as a renowned inventor and entrepreneur. I personally don’t know much about Edison’s artistic prowess but it is clear that the man was, like many entrepreneurs extremely creative.
We interpreted creativity pretty broadly when it came to identifying it as a reason why people start businesses. What did creative entrepreneurs we interviewed have to say?
Back in 2008, I was inspired by my time-management struggles to find a solution to help agents leverage their time & energy, and created MyOutDesk to provide a trusted, reliable solution to the office administration, marketing & prospecting tasks that entrepreneurs have – but most lack the time to focus on.

I started my enamel pin shop about a year ago as a creative outlet for
self-expression. I wanted to take up space, share my feelings and thoughts
in a fun and relatable way. The Gray Muse is the perfect way for art and
words to meet.

I started my business because I wanted to make a positive impact on
someone else’s life. By making custom jewelry, we get to be part of some
really special moments. Seeing my clients’ **visions come to life and the
happiness that follows is a true success for me.
