Sometimes you have to shut yourself up. Do you know that little voice in your head? The one telling you everything is going to be hard. Do you ever question it? What if it is wrong? What if this is going to be easy? What if this thing you want to do is going to be fun?
Stop making life so hard.
What is hard anyway? What does difficult even mean? You tell yourself that making that call is hard. Building a business is hard. Making money is hard. Is it? What makes it hard? I’m not talking about becoming a multimillionaire. I’m talking about the simple things that you overcomplicate.
Maybe you’re wrong.
What if you’re wrong? What if the only reason it’s difficult is that you believed yourself. Maybe you are putting immense pressure on yourself. Maybe you are sucking the joy out of your journey.
Stop, stopping yourself.
You need to have a word with your brain. You need to set it right. I’ve had some pretty bad ideas. They came from my brain. My brain isn’t always right. Maybe yours isn’t either. What if this is going to be easy? What if you gave yourself permission to go, go, go? What if you didn’t assume how hard something was going to be and just jumped in and found out?
